The ascent from the Preintalerhütte to the Unteren and Oberen Sonntagskarsee is a fantastic experience! The narrow path leads along slopes covered with flowers and alpine roses, from which you can see the valley with the local stream. The closer you get to the Sonntagskarseen, the more idyllic it becomes: the creek tumbles down in waterfalls and cows climb up the steep slopes. The alpine altitude of the Sonntagskarseen at 2,000 meters is really special. Simply magical!
