Tips
Collared and Alexandrine parakeets have populated the Biebrich Palace Park for several decades. Several hundred of these predominantly green parrots now live here, although this high population does not damage the tree population, but browsing leads to widely branched treetops. Even extreme cold in the winter months do not bother the green exotics. They are also best observed in the wintertime, otherwise they can hardly be seen in the green foliage.
