Many city festivals are held here, for example the annual "fête du lac" and people meet for a picnic in the evening.
From here you have a fantastic view over the lake and the opposite mountains, Mont Veyrier and Mont Baron.
The 'Pont des Amours' above the Canal du Vassé connects 'Le Pâquier' and the 'Jardin de l'Europe'.
