Surrounded by the Beaufortain and Mont-Blanc massifs, les Chapieux is a pretty little hamlet, very picturesque. You can find goat cheese made on site at the village goat farm, as well as many local products. The village also has a free camping area and an inn. A very nice little stop before continuing your hike.
