The São Domingos Dam is located about five kilometers from the mouth of the São Domingos River, in the town of Atouguia da Baleia, in the municipality of Peniche, district of Leiria. It is the largest municipal property and also the only dam in the West that is intended for public water supply [1]. It is a rockfill dam with a clay core, with a length of approximately four kilometers and an average width of three hundred meters.

Mountain biking

Very nice dirt/gravel road, which follows the shores of the baragem. In winter a little wet (see picture), but no problem with a mountainbike.
