Many trees down along barragem trail but all passable thanks to some Good Samaritan with a chain saw.

Barragem loop
Trying a full loop post storm season. Crossover to Bolhos at the top of the barragem is flooded and likely to remain so till mid summer. The plateau track is blocked by tree fall and as Ferrel forest is still closed a road detour needed down to the coast road. There’s a deep wet shoes flood on the coast road not far before PDM. Good times

Miradouro da Pena Seca
A quick hike up from Paço to the Miradouro and return via the interesting cliff notch. Kids would love this one for all the rocky trails and minor scrambling.

Almost a clean run of the Altiplano loop. Sadly the cafe in Reguengo Grande was shut for holidays. Had to settle for Chipicao baby croissants.

Day 2 of trying to create a legal camping loop from Peniche. Coming out of the Nazaré Orbitur you turn onto a sand track which demanded 500m of bike pushing to hook up with a gravel forest track. Technically you could go along the road to avoid the push but its shoulderless and Naz local drivers seem

Peniche to Nazaré in an attempt to create a short legal camping loop that takes in the Aires e Candeeiros and Montejunto. Mostly good dirt tracks through to Nazaré. The campismo is an Oribitur out the back of town which doesnt lend itself to exploring the city on foot and theres a nearby night club which
