The Eisstadion am Pferdeturm (Eisstadion at the Horse Tower) in Hanover is a historic ice rink in the Kleefeld district, right next to the medieval Horse Tower, which gave the stadium its name 🏒❄️.
Opened in 1959 and covered since 1978, the stadium seats around 4,600 spectators, mostly standing room only. It is the home of the Hannover Indians (Oberliga Nord) and the Pferdeturm Hunters. In addition to ice hockey, public skating, ice discos, and family events are held here – especially popular from September to March.
