Pany
The formerly independent municipality on the Luzeinerberg included numerous individual farms and the hamlet of Gadenstätt. Since 1892 it has formed the largest department of the political municipality of Luzein.
The village was first mentioned in 1411 as Pynnuew. The field names are predominantly Rhaeto-Romanic and have survived the early modern language change of the region to German after the immigration of the Walser.

Shortly before the entrance to Pany there is another beautiful passage of the old Walser Trail, which was difficult for the time.
