During the months of May and June it is a good idea to take a walk or bike ride through the Uitlegger, a piece of land of no less than 90 hectares. You will be greeted by beautiful blooming rhododendrons and azaleas that will pamper your eyes and your nose. In addition to the forest, where there are mainly coniferous trees, you can also relax by the pond.

And this pond has an interesting history. It was created from bunkers dating from the First World War. The owner at the time covered those bunkers with sand, creating the pond as we know it today. And as icing on the cake, the Antitankgracht, which runs straight through the area, provides a special living environment in which rare animals and plants feel at home.
