    Hiking

Sgòrr Dhònuill is one of Beinn a' Bheithir's two Munros and its summit occupies an enviable position looking out across the length of Loch Linnhe towards the Isle of Mull. Like other big western summits – such as Ben Cruachan, Ladhar Bheinn and Beinn Alligin – your efforts to reach the summit are rewarded with an astonishing view out to sea.

Sgòrr Dhònuill is often climbed along with the neighbouring Munro of Sgòrr Dhearg via the connecting bealach. It can also be ascended from the forestry land to the north.

    Mountaineering

Sgorr Dhonuill is the Munro summit of Beinn a' Bheithir that sits on the west side of the mountain. I was lucky enough to experience a partial cloud inversion while on the summit during my Munro round. We approached from Ballachulish in the north through woodland.
