Hiked the entire Franconian Dune Trail and was very enthusiastic about the beautiful area, the varied landscapes and the wonderful Lorenz forest. The connection with public transport is also a dream. The stage from Feucht to Altdorf was the most beautiful. All thumbs up !!!!

The Franconian Dune Trail leads through a lesser-known but unique landscape characterized by sand in the south of the Nürnberger Land district. This landscape was formed during the last two ice ages and is now almost entirely forested. The hiking trail runs in parts through the Franconian sand axis and leads over sand dunes and through rocky and river landscapes. The destination and starting point is Altdorf near Nuremberg.
