Bunker Ni9 is one of the four bunkers of Roosdaal built in 1939 by the Belgian army as part of a line of 38 bunkers along the Waterloo-Halle-Ninove position. During the inventory of the bunkers, in 1946, the Belgian Engineers gave each of the bunkers a number, in Roosdaal from Ni6 to Ni9. The bunkers flank each other and are each in a different wind direction.
Bunker Ni8 is the most northerly bunker. The bunker is located in the middle of arable land and is not accessible.
