The listed St. Marienkirche is by far the oldest building in Groß Kölzig. With its towering pyramid helmet roof, the four corner turrets and its more than 5 meter high bell louvre star, this 26 meter high church tower is an ornament of the large Cologne church and a landmark of the place.
