The Werach bridge Vacha is a 225 m long stone arch bridge from the Middle Ages, which connects the Thuringian Vacha with the Hessian Philippsthal. Today, the building is used as a pedestrian and cycle bridge. The ecumenical pilgrimage route Görlitz-Vacha leads over the Werra bridge. Here the Way of St. James through the Rhön in the direction of Fulda connects. Next to the bridge overlooking the city, stands a sculpture that was inspired by the pedestrian traffic light figures.
