The weir system, turbine hall and guard house of this power plant have been preserved to this day largely as they were built in 1903/04. The turbine hall with its Art Nouveau façade is protected as a technical monument and the wrought iron fittings on its entrance door show how elaborately industrial buildings were designed at that time.
