Hiking
This route starts on the A5 and climbs alongside the Afon Lloer to a point near its source, the small lake Ffynnon Lloer. The path then diverts left and upwards more sharply with a few scrambling sections up to the first top of the day, Pen yr Ole Wen, with it's fine views across to the Glyderau.
