The Schietsjampettermolen is a standard mill in the Belgian Wannegem, a sub-municipality of Kruisem.

The mill originally stood in the West Flemish Houtave, a sub-municipality of Zuienkerke. The Houtavemolen was demolished in 1981 under loud protest from the then "champetter" (field guard), firearm in hand. He shot a bullet into the mill shed. It was rebuilt in Wannegem-Lede and is called the Schietsjampettermolen there.

The mill is located along the Huisepontweg, on the site of a 16th-century mill that blew over on 27 October 1959.

The 23 m long sail is made of oak. A storm on Christmas Eve 1999 tore loose a mill rod that ended up dozens of metres further in the field. The mill has been operational again since 2006. It can drive two pairs of millstones and an oat crusher.

When the municipalities of Kruishoutem and Zingem merged in Kruisem, the street name of the adjacent street (Molenstraat) was changed to Houtavestraat, after the origin of the mill.

The mill was completely restored and can be visited.

An orientation table was placed at the foot of the mill.

The miller will run the mill very regularly and the mill will even grind regularly. To this end, the miller is looking for people who can supply grain. The grain is milled or crushed for animal feed.

The mill can be opened and turned on request during the weekend for people staying in Kruishoutem or the surrounding area, also for groups.

In 1708 it served as a watchtower for the army commanders during the Battle of Oudenaarde, but it collapsed in 1959. The mill that stands there now was dismantled in 1981 in Houtave in West Flanders and moved to this location. The mill owes its strange name to a trigger-happy 'champetter' who shot a bullet into the mill chamber after an argument about this.
