Coming from Wakendorf II, after a gently ascending passage after the right-hand bend, it is mostly sloping downwards (2-3%) or flat on beautiful asphalt. The bridge over the Alster is paved (Pavet alarm) and the moor path (that's the name of the street) then leads in the direction of Segeberger Str. Between Nahe and Kayhude on an approx. 500 meter long gravel road. Great for the gravel bike, but with a bit of caution (watch out for potholes - the path is otherwise 'hard sand') it should also be feasible with a racing bike. However, caution should be exercised in the area of the transition when entering the gravel section at a suitable speed.
The field of vision is usually open and satisfies the inner escapism with beautiful far-sighted impressions. Depending on the wind strength and its direction, you are at the mercy of this, especially after the left bend towards the bridge.
All in all, a pretty, fast-paced and varied section!
