The Grote or St.-Bavokerk (Historic St. Bavo Cathedral) is a late medieval church building in the Dutch city of Haarlem, located on the Grote Markt. It was dedicated to Saint Bavo until the Reformation. The medieval cross church (construction period: 1370-1520), which is located in the middle of the old city center, is built in the Brabantine Gothic architectural style. On the cross of the transept and nave is a more than 78 meter high wooden, lead-covered, late Gothic crossing tower. The church is one of the 'Top 100 of the National Agency for the Conservation of Monuments' from 1990.
