The Botermarkt is one of the most beautiful squares in Haarlem, partly because it is (almost) always sun-drenched. No sun for a while? Don't worry, three of the five cafes on this square have patio heating. Beer lovers definitely owe the Botermarkt a visit: together the cafes have a choice of 350 bottled beers and 40 on tap.

The Botermarkt is a street and square in the center of the northern Dutch city of Haarlem.
The square has a fairly elongated and rectangular shape and is bordered on the east side by the Gierstraat, Verwulft and the Gedempte Oude Gracht. On the west side the square borders the Tuchthuisstraat, Korte Bogaardstraat, Barrevoetestraat and Gasthuisstraat.
