Follow the port road all the way to the end to get to the main ferry across the Ria de Aveiro to Sao Jacinto. See the photo of the schedule board for timing, and double-check online. If you miss the ferry there are also some other, unfortunately mostly unmarked shuttles a bit earlier along the road. Some of them serve the smaller landing docks around the lagoon, which might at least help to get to the other side.

Ticket machine in office wasn't working however there were men at the ferry who accept cash and by the looks of it card.
