Lie is idyllically located directly on the Fläming Skate between Petkus and Stülpe.

The oven is located directly on the Flaeming skate, so ideal for day-trippers on the bike and skates.
When arriving by car, please use the parking at the inn "Zum cool reason", as the Flaeming skate should not be used!

The district of Ließen is about 2 km south of the highest point of the Lower Fläming - the Golm (178m). Ließen was first mentioned in a court book in the town of Jüterbog as "Heyne lysen". Ließen belonged to the Archdiocese of Magdeburg and the Electorate of Brandenburg, to the Lordship of Zossen and until 1537 to the von Schlieben family. The von Rochow zu Stülpe family took over the village in 1648. The church built in 1772 is in the center of the upper village. It was placed on the foundations of the old church built in the Thirty Years' War as a baroque plaster building. A natural monument is the village linden tree, which is now 30 meters high and has a circumference of 5 meters. On the road from Stülpe to Ließen you can still see a former railway embankment, which tells of the time when the towns of Dahme/Mark and Luckenwalde were still connected by a small railway. This railway was closed in 1964. Today, a bike and skater path runs across the dam. The town of Ließen is also widely known for its romantic (unfortunately currently closed) forest pool and the youth hostel that was built in the 1930s and is now being used as such again.

The traditional association "Hoher Golm" based in Ließen has set itself the goal, among other things, that Ließen continues to live up to its reputation as the "village of craftsmen, lumberjacks and musicians". Numerous events are organized by this active association, and the small town is known far beyond the borders of Liessen for its beautiful traditional "Christmas market". This has always taken place on the second weekend in Advent since 1996.
