    The Tumulus van Vechmaal is a Gallo-Roman tumulus located near Vechmaal in the Belgian province of Limburg in the municipality of Heers. The hill is to the west of the village about five kilometers north of the N69, an ancient Roman road which ran from Tongres to Bavay. The Vechmaal tumulus is a small burial mound with a diameter of 18 to 20 meters. In the 19th century it was looted by treasure hunters. The finds have still not been recovered. As a result, little is known about this burial mound. The tumulus probably dates from the 2nd century AD
