The groundbreaking ceremony took place in September 2018 and the Stone Age playground could finally be opened. Directly opposite the Neanderthal Museum there is now a unique adventure world, including a water feature. A unique Stone Age adventure playground has been created on 2250 square meters of play area, where connections to prehistoric times and Neanderthals can be made.
For the youngest up to the age of six there is a corresponding area as a so-called driftwood landscape - with trembling beams and water. Pavilions, stones and tree trunks serve as resting places.
