With the official commissioning of the PDS-Hamelberg extension building in October 2006, the two voluminous sculptures "El-La" were inaugurated on the forecourt. They were conceived by the artist Jürgen Thode from Stapel, who died in 2006, and realized by his widow Ines Thode-Sonntag with the active help of her family. The pair of sculptures interpret the subject of “communication” in an equally idiosyncratic and eye-catching manner. The 2.50 m high female figure and the three-meter man in trendy colors symbolize the communication-oriented overall concept of the PDS-Hamelberg company. (Rotenburg culture trail)
