The Bullensee is a natural lake in the middle of a forest and moorland area. Its wide, shallow bathing area makes it ideal for children. There is an extensive network of well-paved and signposted hiking trails. A new addition is a moorland nature trail, which was created and is maintained by NABU Rotenburg. The Bullensee is therefore an attractive destination for excursions in every season.
