Edmund-Probst-Haus and Höfatsblick Station

The viewpoint slightly off the mountain railway station is located on a small hill above the upper fold valley. If bad weather does not hinder the view, the magnificent panorama from the Allgäuer Hauptkamm extends deep in the south of the Allgäu Alps over the valley view to Oberstdorf as far as the Wengenköpfen high up on the Hindelanger Klettersteig.

The Edmund Probst Haus is actually more of a mountain hotel than a hut and the many day visitors give the impression that you have never left "civilization" in the valley.

Even without skis and snowboards, the Nebelhorn offers unique mountain experiences in both summer and winter. Take the Nebelhornbahn up from Oberstdorf and use the Seealpe station or the mountain station as a starting point for exploring nature.
