Nebelhornbahn • Station Höfatsblick & Edmund-Probst-Haus

The viewpoint slightly off the mountain railway station is located on a small hill above the upper fold valley. If bad weather does not hinder the view, the magnificent panorama from the Allgäuer Hauptkamm extends deep in the south of the Allgäu Alps over the valley view to Oberstdorf as far as the Wengenköpfen high up on the Hindelanger Klettersteig.

The Edmund Probst Haus is actually more of a mountain hotel than a hut and the many day visitors give the impression that you have never left "civilization" in the valley.

Nice starting point for a tour to the Prince Luitpold House on the Laufbacher Eck.

If you have wandered off the valley station, you will be pleased to reach the Edmund-Probst-Haus and take a break ....

The second middle station of the Nebelhornbahn, here you have to change to the summit lift to reach the summit of the Nebelhorn at 2224 m.
Or you can continue on foot along the ridge path to the west, the broad middle path or the eastern ridge path.
