There are great views of the north end of Lake Windermere to be had from here. Over the water, you can see the gentle fells of Loughrigg Fell, Park Fell, and Black Crag too. Make the most of them before you end up in Skelghyll Woods, where you lose the views. There is a handy bench seat here to enjoy all of this at your leisure too.
