Located in the middle of the main shopping street of this tourist town. The church was built in 1900

built in neo-gothic style. The organs are of German manufacture, built by the Oberlinger brothers and are originally

from Erkelens. They were placed in the north transept in 2012.

A pearl of the tourist Ardennes at the end of the 19th century, La Roche-en-Ardenne was supposed to have the most beautiful and largest church in the region. The remarkable neo-Gothic building, which today stands in the center of the city, was inaugurated in 1901. It is built on the site of an older church with a Baroque spherical bell tower that made it famous for a long time. Especially the stained glass windows by Louis-Marie Londot (1980) are very lively. Here the organ is what sets the tone, especially the organ at the altar. An impressive German-made instrument with 4300 pipes. Many of the countless paintings and sculptures will touch you with their quality. Starting with the large polychrome altarpiece of the choir. To the right and left of the choir are two lime wood statues depicting the Virgin and Saint Nicholas, patron saint of the parish. The images were made by Renier Panhay from Rendeux. A must is the 16th century baptismal font and a majestic pulpit with alabaster statues. (Source: openchurches.eu)
