Cross monument erected in 1934 by H. Hoffer in memory of the 65 inhabitants of Saint Hadelin who were killed on August 5 and 6, 1914 during the invasion of Belgium by Germany. Originally a young woman was lying at the foot of Calvary where Christ emerges from the flames. This young woman has been replaced by a commemorative plaque.
