Optical telegraph near the Haut-Barr castle, which was part of a telegraph line that linked Paris to Strasbourg between 1798 and 1852.

Former optical station of the telegraph line Paris - Strasbourg.
Renovated in 1968, it houses a small museum that informs about the telegraph system.
The Musée du Télégraphe Chappe is open from the beginning of June to the middle of September from Tuesday to Sunday from 1 to 6 pm.
