On the usual rugged Alb, the Schmeiental is a lovely place. The Schmiecha makes generous use of its wide valley to give space to colorful, blooming meadows. It is a pleasure to follow it, occasionally taking a few steps to the rocks on the slope, only to follow its course again later, until it flows into the Danube far too soon.
