It wasn't a top class hike today, but I still quite enjoyed it.

In my opinion, there is a lack of proper landscaping in this area.

The far-reaching views would be gigantic if the hedges were thinned out and trimmed a fair bit. Sometimes even the vantage points were overgrown.

Today was an absolutely great round on wonderful paths and paths.

      Technically rather meager.

      Steep long climb.

Apart from a few deviations, the tour follows the premium Teufelskanzelsteig hiking trail.

I can only recommend following the signs from Teufelskanzelsteig. You can also get past the Teufelskanzel

Today's round comes from the Rother hiking guide Black Forest South Tour No. 48.

The tour starts in Bernau Hof.

Right at the beginning you have to cope with a huge climb on gravel roads.

The landscape here is very beautiful.

Once at the top, the tour is level for a good stretch, partly descending.

      On gravel

The first 2km are both up and down to the Albtrauf.

The first km you walk through the beautiful nature reserve Beurener Heide. From here you have the first magnificent view of Hohenzollern Castle.

The second km is then the ascent on great nature trails to the eaves. Somewhat steeper.

      Once at the top, you

      Today's round was really great.

The first 4 km are on asphalt, which didn't bother me in any way because you can always enjoy great views.

Except for a shorter piece on gravel, the rest of the round runs on beautiful paths and paths.

What really impressed me today was the heavy scree avalanche.

      Unbelievable

Very nice round with wonderful views, scenically beautiful Alb plateau, complete descent is on wonderful single trails.

At one point the passage is closed due to a landslide.

In front of the landslide, however, a path leads up to the left.

For me, today was the perfect lap because the entire tour is in the shade, with the exception of short sunny patches.

In the beginning you only run on super nice paths and paths which then alternate with asphalt and gravel in the second half.

Sometimes the traffic noise can be heard from the street, but

Very nice round that you can also do well on warmer days.

Runs completely in the shade except for the last few kilometers.

At the moment the round is very feasible because everything is dry.

When it's wet, I wouldn't recommend the Enge Gorge.

The paths are definitely very slippery there. But there is a bad weather diversion.

On today's tour, the first 2km and the last 4km were really great.

In between there was an eternal stretch on asphalt, which I found to be really corrosive over time.

Parts of this round run along the premium hiking trail Hochgepilgert. If you like the highlights and if you want to follow this round, I

For me, this round was pure hiking pleasure.

      It was so great.

      Very beautiful landscape.

The views and panoramas are world class.

The ascents and descents were sometimes very steep.
