The St. Johannis Church from the 18th century is located in the middle of the village in Siebeneichen on the spacious meadow, surrounded by a stone wall and old linden trees.

The St. John's Church was built in 1751 instead of a dilapidated previous building according to plans by the master builder Johann Paul Heumann from Hanover as a simple, elongated field stone hall building. A weather vane in the shape of a fish decorates the church tower. The interior of the church has retained its uniform furnishings from the time it was built to this day. The nave is structured by the wooden hollow vault in the middle part and the surrounding gallery. At the east end of the north long side is the box for the church patron, Lord von Gut Wotersen. The pulpit altar with a copy of the painting "Christ in the Garden of Gethsemane", which is located in New York today, was made by Hermann Andreas Elleroth from Lübeck.
