Cottage settlement with restaurant and small grocery store. The overnight prices are quite expensive. One of the chalets is designed with 2-3 person rooms especially for hikers. At the beginning of September 2016 we got a place to sleep without a reservation. But you probably can't rely on that.
There is also an associated campsite down the road towards Lac d'Iraty, but we didn't see it ourselves.
