The St. Stephani Church in the district town of Helmstedt in Lower Saxony is a three-aisled Gothic hall church, which was consecrated in 1300 to St. Stephen as a successor to the destroyed in the same place Romanesque religious building. The towerless church built on the highest hill of the city was the first parish church of Helmstedt and between 1576 and 1703 also the university church of the former University of Helmstedt. The present church of the St. Stephani Church is part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Brunswick.

Impressive building. Framed by several old linden trees.
