Location and history: The Greutterwald nature reserve is located in the district of Stuttgart between the districts of Weilimdorf, Feuerbach, Zuffenhausen, Neuwirtshaus and the village of Korntal.
Most of the Greutterwald is in the municipal area of Stuttgart and was declared a nature reserve (NSG) in 1984.
The Greutterwald nature reserve is one of seven nature reserves in Stuttgart. It was enacted in 1984 and has an area of 151.3 hectares.
The NSG Greutterwald has an area of 151.3 ha. The largest part, namely 149.4 ha, is in the municipal area of Stuttgart, only 1.9 ha are in the area of Korntal-Münchingen in the district of Ludwigsburg. The NSG is located in the districts of Weilimdorf, Zuffenhausen and Feuerbach in Stuttgart.

Quite dreary in winter with many fallen trees and a dense stock of trees.
