The Turfschip viewing terrace has been put into use on the Heidijk in Vlijmen. The Peat Ship is a steel construction in the shape of the flat-bottomed ships that shipped peat through the Loonse peat canal until the mid-17th century. That canal was a few hundred meters south of the Heidijk. Admire the new nature from this vantage point.
