    The place itself is fantastically beautiful, as well as all the other cabins and campsites along the Laugavegurs. However, do not arrive here too late to catch one of the sought after spots with some green ground. Otherwise, only the tent structure remains on fine sandy lava soil. In addition, the fine sand creeps into every pore and lays like a movie on everything you carry with you. In any case, you should not let the mood spoil, the environment is a dream and just waiting to be explored. Tip: be sure to visit the gorge Markarflótsgljúfur, it is just a short walk from the campsite and compensates for all the hardships of a day. Do not forget camera. ;-)
