Even away from the immediate Teufelsschlucht, the transition from the Ferchweiler Plateau to the Prümtal offers numerous rock formations, gorges and crevices. An impressive landscape of sandstone erosion.

There is considerably less going on here than in the main part of the gorge. Still beautiful fairy tale world!

The section of the trail behind the actual Teufelsschlucht is much less frequented than the gorge itself; nevertheless it is worthwhile to walk along there.
