Old Wine Press at Deutsches Weintor

The old wine press is one of the stops on the wine trail.
Over 50 years ago, the citizens of Schweigen-Rechtenbach launched the 1st German Wine Trail, which quickly became a magnet for visitors and made friends far beyond the borders of the southern Palatinate. A comprehensive redesign was inevitable as it got old and we are pleased that after a year of construction we can open the new wine trail with the start of the 2021 season with financial support from EU funds (Leader).
The wine trail begins and ends at the wine press at the German Wine Gate. There is a corresponding notice on the opening days of the Sonnenberghütte.
