"The Görlitz–Dresden railway line is a double-track main line in Saxony that was originally built and operated by the Saxon-Silesian Railway Company. It runs from Görlitz via Löbau, Bautzen and Bischofswerda to Dresden. The line is part of the national connection from Breslau to Dresden and the Pan-European Transport Corridor III.Today, only local trains run on the Dresden-Görlitz connection that are ordered by the transport association Verkehrsverbund Oberelbe and Verkehrsverbund Oberlausitz-Niederschlesien.
