The replica of the Heidelberg Castle was commissioned by the entrepreneur Robert Bischof. Thanks to his successful "Bischof & Spengler Company", which operated chocolate vending machines at train stations, he was able to afford the complex construction in Eichwalde. In the 1970s the garden was only protected by a small wall on one side. It was an adventure for children to play in the corridors of the outdoor area of the "Kleckerburg". The house is now used as a residential building.
