The root protection hut on Teufelsmoor is ideal for a picnic. Meanwhile, the root system of an 80-year-old beech tree can be discovered there. A very nice rest stop. With a lot of space.

Here you can also sit comfortably at tables and let the hanging roots take their effect. Combined with a small picnic, this is definitely a great experience. Three tables are available. Interesting information boards complete the offer.

Who has ever looked at the root of a very old tree from below? You can do that here without going underground or even digging. The root is located on the ceiling and you can see all the details that are normally underground. The information package is supplemented by numerous display boards that explain the geological processes involved in the development of the area.
