Gëlle Fra (dt .: Golden Woman) is the common name of the Monument du Souvenir, a memorial on the Place de la Constitution in Luxembourg (city). It was created in 1923 by the sculptor Claus Cito.

The monument was designed by artist Claus Cito and was originally built in 1923.

Locally, it is also known as Gëlle Fra ("Golden Lady"), a name that refers to the gilded female figure atop its towering obelisk. It was designed to honour the Luxembourgers who died in World War I. When the Nazis occupied the city during World War II, the base and obelisk of the monument were destroyed and the statue was removed. The statue you see today has been partially restored using original pieces and was completed in 1985.

Today, it symbolises the freedom and resistance of the Luxembourgish people. It is also the military memorial to the Luxembourgers who volunteered for the Allied armies and gave their lives for Luxembourg's independence during the two world wars, the Korean War, the Spanish Civil War and as members of UN missions.
