Right in the center is the historic town hall with its current building, built in 1863 along with the Ratskeller (Ratskeller wine cellar), and a sandstone market fountain, built in 1921, with a symbolic construction worker on its stele; it was reconstructed in 1983. In addition, numerous well-preserved or reconstructed half-timbered buildings reflect the living conditions of earlier centuries. Some house facades from the 19th and 20th centuries feature beautiful details reminiscent of the Art Nouveau era.
