Hiking
De Hoop is a corn and hulling mill and was built in 1839 after its predecessor, a spider mill with scaffolding, was blown over. The mill was in operation until the death of the last professional miller in 1970. In 1973, a private individual had the mill completely restored, with the entire substructure being rebuilt. Since this extensive restoration, the mill has been regularly put into operation by a volunteer miller.
