The Simmerbach is a beautiful and interesting body of water. Following the course as far as possible is really fun.

The Simmerbach is an approximately 57 kilometer long river of the Hunsrück that flows in alternating southern directions in the two Rhineland-Palatinate districts of Rhein-Hunsrück and then Bad Kreuznach. On the approximately 17 km of its lower reaches from the tributary of the Lametbach in Gemünden, the river is also called Kellenbach. It flows into the Nahe from the left near Simmertal.
