The Cap Blanc-Nez (cape white nose) is a headland on France's Channel Channel coast, which is called in this area Côte d'Opale.
Together with the Cap Gris-Nez (cape gray nose) it forms the Site de deux Caps (area of the two capes).
The Cap Blanc-Nez consists of chalk and marl and falls off steeply. There are also some bunkers left over from the war.
When the weather is clear you can clearly see the chalk cliffs of Dover, Cap Gris-Nez and the bay of Wissant in the south.

Reminiscent of the Dover Patrol, which defended the strategically important Dover Strait during World War I.

Wissant is located between Cap Gris Nez and Cap Blanc Nez and is easy to "hike" via the coastal hiking trail.

Up here you can go for great walks and the view is a dream. On a clear day you can see as far as England.

Beautiful chalk coast, in good weather you can see the chalk wall in Dover, there are also many remnants of the wartime!

Great view of the "Motorway of the Sea" and with a good view of the English chalk cliffs.

The cap is also part of the coastal hiking trail in the region. It follows the old paths of the border guards for long stretches.

Great view over the sea and the cliffs all the way to England. On the boards of the circuit you learn something about the strategic importance in the world wars. The descent to the beach is very worthwhile. Until high tide, it is only rough stone beach.

An interesting mix of history, landscape and great views, all accessible on hard paved paths (at least on top of the headland and around the Dover Patrol monument. Go out of season and avoid the crowds. It's going to be windy, wrap up warm (especially in February!)

Note on Wikipedia would be enough. My own experience would be better here.
