Interesting bridge with a very nice view of the Vils.
The Vils is a right tributary of the Danube and rises at about 453 m above sea level. NHM in Kleinschönbrunn, in Kallmünz it flows into the Naab. In the Middle Ages, the river was of great importance as a transport route for iron in the "Ruhr area". The iron products were brought to the Amberger Stadel in Regensburg on “Platten” and loaded with salt on the way back to Amberg.
